Are you ready for the best food that the holidays have to offer? We here at Kia of Irvine can’t wait to get together with our loved ones and enjoy some of the best homemade food around. In order to balance all that food we plan on eating, many of us are taking part in the Thanksgiving morning Turkey Trot over in Los Angeles. You’ve never done a Turkey Trot before? Don’t worry. It’s a fun morning where people get together and, well, run or trot before going home to eat to their heart’s content.

Los Angeles Turkey Trot Registration
For this year’s Turkey Trot, racers can register before November 10th for only $20-$65, or the day of the race, if available, for just $25-$70. The race will also be separated out into seven different divisions. Widdle Wobble for younger children, all the way up to the full 5K and 10K. There is also a combination of both the 5K and 10K for the more serious racers. Or for those who plan to eat a whole lot!
Los Angeles Turkey Trot Start Time
On Thanksgiving morning, late registration opens at 6:45 in the morning. Racers may also pick up their bibs/Turkey Trucker Hats at this time. Because many of the parking lots in downtown LA are closed on Thanksgiving Day, it is recommended that racers park in the two lots on Olive and First for the event. $9.00 in exact change is needed to park in these lots. Because of the sheer volume of participants, it would be wise to get there early to ensure you’ve got a place to park. The 5K race begins at 8:00, 10K at 8:45, and the Widdle Wobble race begins at 10:00. Awards will be given out after the races are complete.
