Being connected at all times is quickly becoming the norm in our information culture. Whether our loved ones need to confirm items on the grocery list or our colleagues need a response to an email, drivers are finding that they have to respond promptly even while they’re behind the wheel. In order to make this process safer and more convenient, automakers like Kia are constructing their vehicles with Apple CarPlay capability. The following 2017 Kia models can work with compatible iPhones to provide easy access to the apps drivers need without taking their focus off the road.

Cadenza

The 2017 Cadenza Premium comes standard with UVO eServices with a 7-inch touch-screen display, which includes access to Apple CarPlay. The Cadenza Technology and Limited models come standard with Voice-Command Navigation with an 8-inch display and UVO eServices with Apple CarPlay.

Forte

The 2017 Forte LX is not available with Apple CarPlay. However, both the Forte S and Forte EX trims come standard with a 7-inch touch-screen display with UVO eServices. These two models also come standard with Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Optima

The Optima LX and Optima LX 1.6T are standard with a 5-inch touch-screen with optional CarPlay. The Optima EX is standard with a 7-inch touch-screen and Apple CarPlay. The Optima SX and Optima SX Limited are standard with an 8-inch touch-screen with Apple CarPlay.

Sedona

The Sedona L is not available with Apple CarPlay, but the Sedona LX can be upgraded to receive a 7-inch touch-screen with CarPlay access. The Sedona EX comes standard with that setup, but the Sedona SX and Sedona SXL come standard with an 8-inch color touch-screen display with Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Sorento

The Sorento L does not come with Apple CarPlay, but the Sorento LX and LX V6 are available with a 7-inch color touch-screen with CarPlay access. The Sorento EX, Sorento EX V6, Sorento SX V6 and Sorento SXL V6 come standard with that same setup.

Soul

The Soul Base is not available with Apple CarPlay. The Soul + is available with UVo eServices with a 7-inch touch-screen and Apple CarPlay, which comes standard on the Soul !. Both the Soul + and Soul ! are available with an upgraded 8-inch touch-screen, which also provides access to CarPlay.

Sportage

The 2017 Sportage LX is available with UVO eServices with a 7-inch touch-screen and Apple CarPlay accessibility. This setup comes standard on both the 2017 Sportage EX and Sportage SX Turbo.
