2016 and 2017 Kia Cars with Apple CarPlay
The 2017 Kia Sorento (currently available in our inventory here at Kia of Irvine) was the first Kia model to be available with Apple CarPlay support, but it will be far from the last. Kia has recently announced that 2016 Kia Optima and 2017 Kia Sportage models equipped with the UVO3 system will be compatible with Apple CarPlay as well.
Models that have been ordered and have not yet arrived at the dealership will come with Apple CarPlay connectivity already enabled. Vehicles with the appropriate system that have already been purchased by our customers will be able to take advangate of an Apple CarPlay update for their UVO3 system via www.myuvo.com.
